How can I get involved in community orchestra?

Ive only been playing the viola for a year, but I think Im good for a beginner. I auditioned for regionals and made 4th chair out of 6. I LOVE orchestra and now that Im out of high school I would love to continue it. Im not trying to make it a career, Im just in love with playing with an orchestra. How can I get started?

1. Well first of all, you have to find a community orchestra. And then contact the director; I'm sure they'd be happy to have you.
2. Some college orchestras allow community members especially if they don't have enough students to fill all the parts.
